AC/DC Tells The Story Of 'Back In Black' In Band's New Web Series

As part of its celebration of the 40th anniversary of Back in Black, AC/DC has launched a new video series telling the story of the making of the album.

Episode one of the series focuses on the song "You Shook Me All Night Long," using archival interviews with Angus and Malcolm Young and Brian Johnson.

In part of the clip, the trio look back on producer Mutt Lange questioning the wordiness of the first verse. The clip then cuts to Malcom and Angus playing the 'folkier' version Lange had suggested.

"I did it like that and then Mal heard it," Johnson recalled. "Mal stopped me and when, 'What the f--k is this?! No, no, no, no. Do it back the old way. It rocks.'"

Back in Black was AC/DC's first album with Johnson and its first since the death of frontman Bon Scott. The album was certified platinum only three months after its release.

Last December, Back in Black was certified 25 times platinum. RIAA lists it as the fourth biggest-selling album of all time.
