Try Shelli Sonstein's Maple Chicken With Root Veggies

MAPLE CHICKEN WITH ROOT VEGGIES

Pre-heat oven to 425 degree.

After washing your hands, mix together the following n a big-ass bowl. (You’ll really need to wash afterwards!)

6 bone-in chicken thighs with or without skin (I prefer without)

Package of baby carrots

2 yams (I leave the skin on) cut into 1-inch cubes

1 sweet onion cut into 1-inch pieces

2 parsnips cut into 1-inch pieces after peeling

1 inch piecesof butternut squash

¼ cup REAL maple syrup (or more if you're nasty)

Salt and pepper

Grease a cooking sheet or pyrex (you may want to line with aluminum foil to ease your clean up).

Bake for one hour. Turn and baste at 30-minute mark.
