At $400, Neil's Cameo rate is well on the high end of celebs on the app, but that doesn't mean he took the job seriously.
Of course there's no way to know whether Neil was really be drunk in the video he sent, but if he's not, that sure would be weird bit.
Not only is the Mötley Crüe frontman slurring his speech in the one-take effort, he's pretty clearly reading the message for the very first time as he's recording it. He even flubs the names of the people involved before signing off.
You can see for yourself in the video player above.
Neil's health has been a concern ahead of Mötley Crüe's 'Stadium Tour' this summer with Def Leppard. Before the reunion news broke, it was rumored that the band's reported $150 million offer hinged on whether Neil could to lose 40 pounds in time.
Responding last month to a veiled query about Neil's waistline via Twitter, bassist Nikki Sixx declared that his singer was "killing it" in the gym, getting ready for opening night. "The whole band is," Sixx added.
The band's manager, Allen Kovac, was a little more specific in December, when he told Fox Business that "some" of the band members had made health and fitness commitments for their big comeback. He didn't name any names, though.
