Ann, Nancy Wilson Considering Making New Music With Heart

Third Annual Love Rocks NYC Benefit Concert For God's Love We Deliver

Heart's Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson agree that there could be some new music on the way for their reunited band.

Heart toured North American all summer (and even played the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival) following the band's longest break in decades.

With every aspect of the live show back in place, the Wilson sisters are beginning to consider their next creative move. Both agreed in a short Q&A with Blabbermouth.net, that new music is a possibility.

When asked what's next for the band, Ann replied: "It's too early to say for sure, but new music is rolling around inside my head..."

Nancy added: "Because the tour was so fulfilling, as well as quite successful, it's fun to start imagining what the next step could be. A new song or two would be a beautiful thing!"

A new record from Heart would be the band's first since 2016's Beautiful Broken, its sixteenth career album, which contained a mix of new songs and re-imagined versions of the band's classic album cuts.

Ann's 2018 solo album, Immortal, contained cover versions of classic songs by artists who have passed away.

In 2017, Nancy released the album, First Things First, with her short-lived Roadcase Royale band, which featured herself and other members of Heart's live band with former members of Prince's backing band, including singer Liv Warfield and guitarist Ryan Waters.
