This week on the award winning Sonstein Sunday:
30 years ago, 24 year old Tracy Edwards led the first all-female crew to ever win a round-the-world sailboat race. Tracy joins me on Q104.3’s “Sonstein Sunday” at 6:55am to tell her incredible story. The doc about this chapter in women’s history, “Maiden” opens June 28th.
At 7:15am: Bryan Stevenson is not a household name but those who have heard or met him call him the “Nelson Mandela of the U.S.” His book “Just Mercy: A Story Of Justice & Redemption” is a New York Times bestseller. A movie about his life starring Michael P. Jordan, Jamie Foxx and Brie Larson opens next year. This Wednesday night HBO’s doc. about Stephenson, “True Justice: Bryan Stevenson’s Fight for Equality,” debuts. Executive Producer Trey Ellis joins me in studio.
Listen to me every Sunday at 6:55am on Q104.3, or anytime, on my Sonstein Sessions podcast on the iHeartRadio app!
