This past Sunday our own Shelli Sonstein took up the challenge to climb all 104 stories of One World Trade Center in the 5th annual Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Climb. This was the 2nd year Shelli put together Team Q104.3 and together they raised over $18,000 that will go into the Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation's programs for ailing first responders and veterans.
Shelli crossed the finish line in 29:18, besting last year’s time by 6 minutes. She also placed 1st in her age group.
Sweaty but happy.
All of Team Q104.3 finished the 104 story climb: Barb Ehlers-Latona, Patrick McNamara, Kenneth “Geronimo” Amos, Nancy Larsen, Carolyn Rutigliano, James Cooke, Lateon Peterson, Wayne Fugel, Brian Scully and Ivan Gelb.
