Sonstein Sunday: NYPD 9/11 Widow Diane Holland / The movie "Charlie Says"

This week on the award winning Sonstein Sunday:

This Sunday, Mother’s Day, we salute mom of three, Diane Holland, who 7 years ago lost her NYPD husband to ‪9/11 cancer. Diane healed thanks to her work with the group HOPS: Helping Our Post ‪9/11 Survivors. Diane and HOPS make gorgeous quilts for NYPD families who have lost loved ones to ‪9/11 illnesses. Diane and NYPD Deputy Commissioner Bob Ganley join me on Mothers’ Day ‪at 6:55am.

With the leader of the Nxivm cult now on trial upstate, you can’t help but wonder what type of person is attracted to a cult? Guinevere Turner lived with a cult ‘til she was 11. Her mom was pregnant with Guinevere at 19 when she joined. Turner wrote the movie “Charlie Says”. Yes, about THAT Charlie. Charles Manson. Director Mary Harron and Guinevere Turner this Sunday ‪at 7:15am.

Listen to me every Sunday at 6:55am on Q104.3, or anytime, on my Sonstein Sessions podcast on the iHeartRadio app!
