KISS: All Former Members Welcome To Appear on Farewell Tour

For the first time ever Jim and Shelli had all of KISS (Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer & Tommy Thayer) together at the same time live in the studio.

Paul and Gene discuss the reasons why they decided to hit the road one last time for their upcoming "End of the Road" farewell world tour- they intend to go out at the peak of their powers and with a bang!

They talk prepping the biggest and most unforgettable KISS show possible- expect an absurd amount of pyro, smoking guitars and special effects.

As for the rumored reunion talk, Paul makes it clear that is is not going to be a "reunion" tour of any sort, but all eras of the band will be celebrated during the show. This includes an open invitation to any former members to appear and jam with them, much like when Mick Taylor made his recent live guest spots with the Stones and when Foreigner collaborated live with classic era members. Let's hope Ace, Peter (and I guess Vinny? I dunno...) have Gene's current number!

Jim also brings up his recent visit to Gene and Paul's restaurant Rock and Brews while catching a flight at LAX.

What was really great about having the full band up is that Jim and Shelli got to finally meet Eric and Tommy, who despite being in the band now for decades, are still considered "the new guys." We learn about how they first got involved with the band- stretching as far back as a teenage Eric leaning up against the stage right underneath Ace back in the day. Their energy, passion and personalities really come through here as they joke around with Jim, Shelli and their bandmates.

Gene Simmons

As usual, a no holds barred Shelli capped it all off by asking how it's remotely possible for Gene Simmons to be "Gene Simmons" in today's world!

KISS will be playing Nassau Coliseum on March 22nd and Madison Square Garden on March 27th. You can get all the info and ticket packages at KISS online.

If you missed it- check out the full interview below- it's KISS in full-on KISS mode, cocky and confident as ever.
