The new tunes, "Unwanted Number" and "Under Lime," were revealed Friday, along with the October 12 release of the new album, Look Now.
"I knew if we could make an album wiht the scope of Imperial Bedroom and some of the beauty and emotion of Painted From Memory, we would really have something," the singer said via a press release.

Friday's announcement was a pleasant surprise for Costello fans, who just weeks earlier learned that the Hall of Fame singer/songwriter was recovering from surgery to remove a highly-aggressive form of cancer.
Costello expressed that he's lucky to be alive after the scare, noting that his doctor caught the malignancy before it could spread.
"Gentleman [sic], do talk to your friends – you’ll find you are not alone – seek your doctor’s advice if you are in doubt or when it is timely and act as swiftly as you may in these matters," he pleaded. "It may save your life. Believe me, it is better than playing roulette."
Costello and his band will be back on tour in North America in November. Get the tour dates here.
