Stand-up, TV and movie star, writer, director, producer…and if that not enough… real life doctor, Ken Jeong joined Jim and Jonathan this morning.
Ken’s hilarious, bold and very exposed (aka extremely NSFW) performances as “Mr. Chow” in the ‘Hangover’ movies enshrined him in pop culture history. Beyond that he dominated scenes in 2007’s ‘Knocked Up,’ was part of NBC’s beloved ‘Community,’ appeared in the cult classic ‘Role Models’ and starred in his own ABC comedy, ‘Dr. Ken.’
Ken told us about his unlikely journey as the son of Korean immigrants, earning his degree and following a more traditional path in medicine before finding a full time calling with stand-up comedy, acting and eventually full-fledged Hollywood success.
Ken’s in a brand new movie that he’s very proud of called ‘Crazy Rich Asians.’ It’s coming out on Aug.15th.
In the meantime you can see him perform live this weekend at Caroline's. He’s headlining tonight (Thursday 6/28) through Sunday (July 1). Don’t miss it!
...And in the closing moments of his visit, Jonathan brought up a great question…will “Mr. Chow” and the Wolfpack return for a ‘Hangover 4’? Check out the answer and the whole interview below:
