Big Boi isn't done bringing his Boomiverse out into the universe just yet, because the Grammy winning, Diamond-certified hip hop star is extending his "Daddy Fat Saxx Tour, The Third Leg," announcing 16 new tour dates for this spring.
Since the release of his Boomiverse album in June 2017, Big Boi has been on the road supporting the project, which is his third full-length studio LP. Boomiverse features 12 new songs, including features from artists like Maroon 5's Adam Levine, Snoop Dogg, Gucci Mane, and more. And the album's latest single, "All Night," features LunchMoney Lewis.
Fans will already recognize "All Night" as the catchy song featured in Apple's iPhone X commercial for the device's popular addicting new feature Animojis, and features people and emojis joyfully singing along to the tune.
"All Night" was produced by Dr. Luke and in an interview with Rolling Stone, Big Boi said of the track and its meaning:
"L.A. Reid sent me that record, at one in the morning. He was like, 'How you like that?' I was like, 'Sh*t, I'm gonna show you I like it.' I've really been singing hooks since Southernplayalistic. But it's just another octave, me flexing my melodious voice, 'cause I do all aspects of the music. I produce. I rap. I sing. I do a bit of everything. It's a positive record, too. It's about upholding your girl, your wife, your woman – talking about women in a positive light. You don't get that all the time. We can have fun and talk about fucking, whatever you want to talk about. But sometimes there's that one person who will do anything for you. You got to hold her up, or she gonna hold you down. That's real steel."
