Mariah Carey already has one of the best and most enduring Christmas songs of all time to her name with 1994's "All I Want For Christmas Is You." But that was 1994 and this is 2017, so of course Mariah wants the ideal family tree to go with her flawless holiday hit.
Over the weekend, Carey shared a handful of photos with her six-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, as they searched for their perfect Christmas tree in New York City.
"On a mission to get a Christmas tree in New York!" the 47-year-old songstress captioned her Instagram photos.
Not to worry, the trio found the ultimate one and then posed together huddled right by it.
The next step: get the tree home and decorate it, which the family did in style. In a video uploaded to Carey's Instagram, she stands in front of a massive screen playing Sunday Night Football and tells the camera, "We're decorating the tree! It's very exciting! Usually we wait until we get to Aspen, and then we just absorb the moments and maybe decorate the tree. But this is Dec. 3, and this is festive."
The kids can be heard squealing in the background.
