The Winter Solstice Cometh

The shortest day of the year. The Winter Solstice falls Today December 21st.

That's when the Northern Hemisphere will be tilted furthest from the Sun and getting the

fewest hours of sunlight. The day also marks the first official day of the winter season. Winter

Solstice celebrations will be held around the world, including at Stonehenge monument in

southern England. My brother has always gone to that. After Sunday, days in the Northern Hemisphere will gradually get longer

until the summer solstice in June.

Fall ends and Winter starts a little after 10am East Coast and 7am West Coast.
