Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Noah Hunt bring the blues on Out Of The Box. Kenny recently released his new album, Goin' Home, which features artists Kim Wilson, Joe Walsh, Warren Haynes, Keb Mo, Robert Randolph and Ringo Starr.
Kenny on performing with Ringo Starr, "I actually played two songs on his last record that came out in 2012, so he returned the favor by playing on this album. I mean obviously one of the most legendary musicians of all time still an extremely talented drummer and he really added a really cool vibe to the song that he played."
The two perform live on air singing a rendition of the legendary blues singer Muddy Water's "I Love The Life I Live." The record is on the album and also features Joe Walsh and Kim Wilson.
Kenny on covering some of the Blue's classic songs for this album, "It's a tradition in Blues music to give credit where credit is due to your influences. All the people that inspired you to play and so this album is just honoring that tradition. Basically us going back and recording some of our favorite songs by some of our biggest hero's."
