I have to be honest. This weekend, I’m sure there are lots of things happening in your neck of the woods, but there are only two events that I’m interested in.

At the Bowery Hotel on Saturday, there’s a Craft Distillery Festival. It’s a bit pricey, but you’ll get to taste over 60 craft spirits, made from Pre-Prohibition recipes, and wild 1920’s jazz music will be played. For more info check out http://www.nyccraftdistilleryfest.com

Here's a craft spirit that I'm a fan big of drinking.

And on the other side of town, at the Penn Plaza Pavilion, they’re celebrating the New York City Hot Sauce Expo. Forty-five of the top hot sauce makers will be there. Plus one of the guys from Trans Siberian Orchestra and one of the guys from Twisted Sister will be demoing and signing their hot sauces. And the Guinness Book will be judging one of the hot sauces. Sounds like a great way to spend the weekend.

So yes, I’m sure lots is going on around town elsewhere, but as you can see, I have my plans worked out.
