Festivals, festivals, festivals! Lots going on this weekend before the short work week begins:

There’s a street fair in Berkley Heights on Sunday that sounds like fun for kids: pony rides, a petting zoo, wall climbing, clowns, face painting and more. Starts at 10 and runs through 5pm.

Red Bank is having their country festival all weekend and the State Fair Meadowlands continues this weekend.

On Long Island, there’s no shortage of festivals and street fairs either. At Bideawee on Saturday, they’re having and artisan craft and adoption fair. Pick up something nice while you pick up a new friend. Wantagh and Lynbrook are both having street fairs too, with Wantagh on Saturday and Lynbrook on Sunday.

And the NYC Pride Parade marches down 5th Avenue on Sunday at noon.

But I’m looking forward to: “Eat The Art” at Grand Central Terminal tonight and tomorrow. It’s a two-day pop up gallery featuring edible works of art made out of cheese! I want a cheesy venus de milo!
