Paul McCartney's Thoughts On Making A Good Record

Posted July 18th, 2014 @ 5:51am

Paul McCartney's interview with Rolling Stone magazine is awesome! If you didn't already know what a great guy he is, you really get the sense from his answers.

Like why does he play the hits on stage when so many artists shy away from them? Because he wants you to leave the show with great memories.

How cool is that?!

How about why Beatles albums were so successful? Because there isn't any filler material. They could have just put junk on the B side of the 45s. But they wanted to make sure there was an as good song on the flip side because people pay money for the record. He says that's a big part of their success.

It's all about the fans.

Again how cool is that!?
