Sonstein Sunday: The Movie "Sunset" / "The Golem"

This week on the award winning Sonstein Sunday:

At 6:55am: Laszlo Nemes directed one of my favorite movies of 2015 “Son Of Saul”, which was a game changer when it comes to movies about The Holocaust. His latest movie “Sunset”, set on the cusp of WW1, opens this weekend. Of course he was a history major in college!!

Hani Furstenberg follows ‪at 7:15am to talk about the very first Kabbalah horror film I ever saw, “The Golem”. Hani grew up in Queens (and lives there now) but very reluctantly moved to Israel with her parents when she was 17. That’s where she first became a professional actress. Sometimes, what you think is the worst thing opens the door to your path in life.

Listen to me every Sunday at 6:55am on Q104.3, or anytime, on my Sonstein Sessions podcast on the iHeartRadio app!
