(Christopher Robbins) NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly was heckled off the stage as he tried to give a lecture at Brown University today. According to the Brown Daily Herald, "protesters halted Kelly’s speech and would not yield the floor."

Kelly's lecture was supposed to concern "Proactive policing in America's biggest city," followed by a Q&A. Protesters were picketing outside the List Art Center before the event, demonstrating against Kelly's use of stop and frisk and the Muslim spying program that he has forcefully championed.
