(Jen Chung) Just before 7 a.m., a white Nissan Altima jumped a curb and then barreled into a bodega at 2nd Avenue and East 4th Street in Manhattan. Eight people were injured, three seriously.

According to MyFoxNY, the car "sustained heavy front-end damage. At least one other car was also involved in the accident." And WABC 7 reports, "Five people inside the vehicle were being treated, while at least three others in or around the East Village Farm, a 24-hour grocery, were injured."
